Location: Westin Diplomat
Golf Resort and Spa
Date: June 16th – 20th, 2010
The 100 Black Men of America’s
Community Empowerment Project (CEP)
is the “living embodiment of
the organization’s mission as
it focuses on one or more of the four
point thrusts: Mentoring, Education,
Health and Wellness, and Economic
Development.
The goal of the Community
Empowerment Project is to make a social
and economic contribution to the community
in which the Annual Conference is
held.
The 100 BMOA works with local leadership
to identify strategies for addressing
a specific, emergent social need within
the respective community. Corporate
and civic partners are rallied to
provide monetary, in-kind, and volunteer
support, thus bringing the community
together in celebration, unity, and
a shared vision to execute the project.
