The
100 Black Men of Greater Fort Lauderdale,
in partnership with Florida
Career College,
has begun the development of our Leadership
Academy. The Leadership Academy will
teach youth the essentials of business,
entrepreneurship, and economic development,
while nurturing their natural leadership
skills. The 100 Black Men of Greater
Fort Lauderdale is very proud to partner
with City Furniture to launch our
Business Curriculum. The Business
Curriculum covers everything from
writing a resume and interviewing
for a job; to the importance of finding
a corporate mentor and understanding
corporate values. Each Mentee completing
our Leadership Academy will be in
business for themselves and about
themselves, with an understanding
of the importance of self image and
self respect. If you would like to
get your child involved in our Leadership
Academy, send us an e-mail from our
contact us page. There is a $25.00
registration fee for each 12 week
session that covers course materials,
snacks, etc. The 100 Black Men of
Greater Fort Lauderdale is currently
seeking partners and sponsors to continue
the development of our Leadership
Academy in the areas of Entrepreneurship
and Economic Development. If you are
