Economic empowerment is necessary for creating just societies

100 Black Men of Greater Fort Lauderdale prepares youth and young adults who can lead the way and become the next generation of global leaders. The future of our organization and our country lies in the ability to develop a pipeline of talented, courageous, and effective leaders who can take up the mantle and take on the challenges that lie ahead.

Many of the members in our network are leaders of other organizations on local, regional, and national levels. These men serve as trailblazers and role models for the youth of today who will assume their positions tomorrow. By example and through leadership training, our members work tirelessly to help empower mentees to build character and create hope, aspirations, plans, and futures. Our motto, “What They See Is What They’ll Be®” is epitomized in the servant leadership of our members.

The cultivation of our next generation of leaders is a worthwhile investment.

The Collegiate 100® (“C100”) has an important role to play on the college campus. The effective execution of that role requires that the Chapter be a responsible, productive, and cooperative segment of 100 Black Men of America, Inc. and the total college community. Membership into the Collegiate 100® is drawn primarily from African–American male and female college students through Chapters on university campuses across America. The primary purpose of the Collegiate 100® program is to provide an avenue for 100 Black Men of America, Inc. chapters to continue their one-on-one and group mentoring to students as they matriculate from high school to college; thereby supporting the Mentoring The 100 Way Across a Lifetime initiatives.
